This is the first coil I made.

Dimensions: 2.5-inch diameter and 13 inches in length
Wire Gauge 28
Max arc length 29 inch

Yes that is a computer under the Tesla Coil and it still works.

Two home-made capacitors.   The 0.005 uF capacitor is the clear one pictured in the left center.  The 0.01 uF rolled capacitor on the right.

Time Exposure 11 second.  Arcing distance is 29 inches.

The secondary is 15 inches height and 2.5 inches in diameter.  The wire is wound to 13 inches.  The tape measure shows 12 inches, but there is 1 inch hiding.
